Rosemarie Kurtz, PhD, NCSP

Dr. Rosemarie Kurtz is a pediatric neuropsychologist and Nationally Certified School Psychologist (NCSP). She earned her doctorate from Columbia University and completed a two-year fellowship in pediatric neuropsychology at Northwell Health. Having practiced across academic medical centers, public school systems, and community clinics, Dr. Kurtz brings a comprehensive, cross-setting perspective to the evaluation of ADHD, autism spectrum disorder, learning disabilities, language disorders, and intellectual challenges.

As a clinical supervisor, Dr. Kurtz guides supervisees in mastering the integration of quantitative, norm-referenced psychometric data with qualitative input from families and educators. She teaches case conceptualization for complex or ambiguous clinical presentations, ensuring diagnostic accuracy. Drawing on her extensive experience translating neuropsychological profiles into actionable school accommodations and representing client needs in formal meetings, she mentors trainees to produce highly functional, advocacy-focused evaluation reports that bridge the gap between clinical diagnoses and real-world support.
